IMMIGRANTS REBATE
REQUIREMENTS FOR RETURNING RESIDENTS
1. Must have lived outside Zimbabwe for a continuous period of at least 2 years prior to your return.
2. Must submit documents to prove residence outside Zimbabwe, such as passports, travel documents, utility bills and proof of employment.
3. Must submit work/ residence/study permit, current and/or expired,
4. Contract of employment/ enrolment documents,
5. Cancellation/termination of contract of employment, for those
who have been employed. Certificates and transcripts for those
who have been studying.
6. Proof of ownership of goods being imported under rebate, e.g.
motor vehicle registration book in importer’s name, invoices etc. N.B Vehicle must have been Owned six months before time of export to Zimbabwe.
7. Proof of funds, e.g. pay slips, bank statements etc
8. Proof that traveler has been accepted by Zimbabwe Immigration
as a returning resident.
9. Produce both old and current passport if traveler has used more
than one passport during the period of their stay outside
Zimbabwe.
10. Export documents from the country of export, as evidence that
the goods have been properly cleared for export from that

11. Proof of residence in Zimbabwe in the form of an electricity bill, a
water bill or a fixed telephone line bill.
12. VAT payable 14.5%
13.Vehicle must have been owned for at least 6 months

15. ROADWORTHY CERTIFICATE FOR CBCA APPLICATION
